School districts must now post financial information online

School districts now are required by state law to provide financial information on their websites.

The information must be provided within 30 days after a school board adopts its annual operating budget for the following fiscal year, or after a board adopts a subsequent revision to that budget.

Richard Muszynski, Riverview business and finance manager, said the district finished posting its information Tuesday.
